<aside> ➡️ TIP: Choosing the right focus areas for your program is essential to classify your program and its intended objectives and target populations. When selecting, use the search box to locate and choose up to five focus areas that best describe your program. These focus areas are individual pieces of a nested taxonomy. The components of the taxonomy are presented alongside your search terms as you perform searches within the Focus Area search field.
EXAMPLE
If your program is about Palliative Care for elderly populations, you could simply search for and select 'Palliative Care’ within the Public Health -> Healthcare' hierarchy and search for and select ‘Elderly’ within the ‘Population Focus -> Age Groups’ hierarchy.
Selected focus areas should correspond with the primary objectives and audience of your program, as it helps other users understand the context and goals of your program more efficiently.
