✅ Participant Approval: What to Test?
1. Setting Participant Approval
- While creating a public program, check that you can select Auto Approved or Approval Required.
- For exisiting programs, go to Program Settings and confirm you can update approval settings.
- Verify that previously created public programs default to Auto Approved.
2. Registration Forms (Optional)
- Create a program registration form under a participant group.
3. Participant Experience
- Request some people in your team to register as a participant in a public program where approval is required.
- Check if they are able to fill out the program registration form.
- Verify if they are able to attend a session.
3. Approving or Rejecting Participants
- Go to the Participants tab in your participant group.
- Under Approval Pending, try to:
- Accept a participant.
- Reject a participant.
- Test bulk approval/rejection using email or mobile filters.
4. Viewing Participant Responses
- From the Approval Pending list, download responses.
- Open the Excel file and confirm responses are visible.
- Use filters (email/phone) to approve or reject selected participants.
5. Notifications
Confirm that the program admin receives a daily email notification when participants are waiting for approval.
🧪 Things to Look Out For
- Did the settings save correctly?
- Were participants able to join as expected (auto or approval)?
- Did the approval/rejection action reflect immediately in the system?
- Did you receive the email notification?
