Hub teams can govern the mechanism for participants to join a Publicly listed ECHO program. This feature gives Hubs the ability to accept or reject requests to join, ensuring a better fit for their community. There are two types of registration settings that the Hub can opt for in case of public programs:
Auto Approved: Participants join the program without requiring any approval from the Hub team. This is followed presently for all ECHO public programs. Approval Required: Hub teams gains the ability to review participants and approve/decline their program enrolment. This becomes crucial and helpful in case the hub team wants to engage with a certain type of participants.
If you need some additional information to screen participants, you can also create a program registration form that the participants will have to fill out during registration.
You can set the participant approval settings while creating a public program.
